Viktor Vergote

Offshore Offtake Manager, Luminus

‘I work within Luminus on the offshore wind project for the ‘Princess Elisabeth’ tenders. These tenders are organised by the government in three phases, with 1 winner each time. A total of 3500 MW of offshore wind capacity will thus be awarded, good for an annual green electricity production equivalent to the power consumption of more than 3 million households. It is therefore one of the key projects for Belgium’s ‘Road to Net-Zero’. Winning this project is also of great strategic importance for Luminus which is taking a pioneering role in renewable developments in Belgium. The first phase (700 MW) will be awarded in August 2025 and is my main focus for the coming year.’

Els Meyvaert

Entrepreneur in Blockchain Technology

‘I hold a degree in business administration and have built my career driving digital transformation and change management across the domain of marketing and communications. Starting at Dexia (now Belfius) and later Colruyt Group, I focused on integrating technology to enable strategic growth. In 2016, I co-founded SettleMint, Belgium’s first Blockchain-Platform-as-a-Service company, where I served as Chief Marketing Officer.’

‘At EY, I developed the Center of Excellence for Emerging Technology at a Europe-West level, exploring diverse tech solutions. Later, as part of Fujitsu’s Enterprise Blockchain team, I contributed to creating the Sustainability Solution Center, leveraging AI and blockchain for ESG reporting. Now I founded my own business strategy, Harder Better Faster Stronger, where I guide organizations toward digital and technological growth.’
